PEGI Announces Mortal Kombat Kollection Online’s Age Limit

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios are about to announce new Mortal Kombat projects. Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, which will bring together the classic games of the series, has been rated by PEGI.

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) rated Mortal Kombat Kollection Online for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC platforms. The Mortal Kombat collection will include renewed versions of the top three Mortal Kombat games developed by Blind Squirrel Games.

The first three Mortal Kombat games were previously developed as HD Remaster Collection. The team behind the Mortal Kombat HD: Kommunity project made by fans of the series was working on the collection, but Warner Bros. canceled the project. Although the project was canceled, in April last year, some screenshots from Mortal Kombat Kollection were leaked and then the collection appeared as Mortal Kombat Kollection Online.

The new project, Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, will bring together classic 2D fighting games. According to PEGI, the games in the collection will have improved art and graphics. “Mortal Kombat Kollection Online contains the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that Mortal Kombat fans have always wanted. Improved art, gameplay, and online features offer an incredible experience reviving ‘klassics …” PEGI explains.

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online has received the PEGI 18 rating, and again, we can say that the more deadly challenges await players. Also, the game was supposed to be released yesterday, but Warner Bros has not released the game yet. While the PEGI rating is a solid resource, it is not yet known when the game will be released.
