Opera Mini version 50 is now available on mobile devices with new features in its interface, in addition to features for data control. According to Andrzej Czarnecki, Opera’s product manager, this set of changes is the largest carried out on the platform in the past five years.
Right after the update, the browser will display an initial visual customization menu. With it, users will define themes (light, dark or automatic) and colors of the functional button frames. The idea here is that the experience in general can be more comfortable, especially in low light environments.
Through the promise of lightness and speed, Opera Mini brings a widget on the top bar to show, in real time, the amount of data saved during its use. Still in this sense, it offers a new ad blocker in partnership with Adblock Plus.
The browser also added a new style of file management, evidenced in the bottom bar, and an offline media sharing system between different devices via Bluetooth.
The Mini can be downloaded on Android devices, but remember that the browser is not available for iOS devices, in which the Touch edition must be used.
