This Thursday (19), the Nokia 8.3 5G was announced as an advanced mid-range phone and specifications still unheard of in the mobile market. The model is a kind of successor to the Nokia 8.1, from 2018, but with a totally new and refined look.
At the front, the notch will give way to a sensor positioned as a hole in the screen – similar to Motorola One Vision and Action. The forehead, chin and side edges will also have smoother contours.
In the rear area, the cell phone will receive curved glass coating and gradient effect, in blue and green tones, to refer to the colors of the northern lights. The group of cameras will no longer be of the capsule type and will be regrouped within a circular frame. Check out the promotional video of the device:
The Nokia 8.3 5G should still call attention to its different configurations within the category of mid-range phones. In this case, it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 765G processor, 5G support, 6 GB or 8 GB RAM options, in addition to 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage.
Your panel will have Nokia’s own 6.81 ’’ PureDisplay technology with FHD + resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. In the camera section, there will be a sensor for 24 MP selfies; while the rear will feature a quartet of ZEISS lenses of 64 MP (main), 12 MP (ultra wide angle), 2 MP (depth) and 2 MP (macro).
The smartphone will also have some special features for video, such as: 4K recording, action camera mode and cinematic editing – including exclusive effects such as blue reflection or anamorphic style.
The Nokia 8.3 5G will have a 4,500 mAh battery, with support for 18W fast charging. It will still come standard with Android 10 One, the purest OS experience, with support for the next two updates. The security part will be reinforced with a physical fingerprint button on the side of the device.
One of the biggest highlights of the cell phone is its 5G technology, which will offer the largest number of bands in the world. This system is capable of supporting from the lowest levels of 600 MHz to the highest, such as 3.8 GHz. This should give the device a better adaptation to different situations of mobile connection.
According to its manufacturer, HDM Global, Nokia 8.3 5G will be launched only in the summer of the northern hemisphere, starting at € 599
