Noel Gallagher hinted that new music will be released soon, more detailed information about which may be revealed on Tuesday (January 17).
Earlier today (January 13) Gallagher posted on his social networks a video shot by his daughter Anais, which shows him recording vocals and instruments in the studio. Snippets of what appear to be two new songs are played over the top before the video turns black with the date “17.01.23”.
The former Oasis executive also teased new music on Christmas Eve by sharing a clip of string sessions for a new song recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studio. It was signed with the phrase “INGUT”, which fans suggest may be an abbreviation of a potential song title.
Gallagher previously mentioned in an interview with an Italian radio station that his new album with High Flying Birds is scheduled for release in May. His lead single “Pretty Boy”, created in collaboration with Johnny Marr, was released in October.

Speaking about the track, Gallagher said: “For this new record, it was the first thing I wrote, the first thing I recorded in the demo, and the first thing I finished, so it’s right that it’s the first thing people will hear.
“Huge greetings to my main man Johnny Marr for taking this somewhere special. Oh… and watch out for my cameo in the video… the first one to notice me will get a package of Flamin’ Hot Wotsits Giants!!
The artist previously explained that the following NGHFB 2017 album “Who Built The Moon?” has a mostly “orchestral” sound. “There’s a track on the album called ‘Dead To The World’, it’s one of the best songs I’ve ever written,” he said.
In another interview, he revealed that he posed as David Bowie while working on tracks for the album, saying that for the song “Pretty Boy”, “I was sitting up late at night singing [Bowie’s] voice:”If this song sounds like David Bowie, then I’ll sing like David Bowie until I write it.”
