NFL World Reacts to Patrick Mahomes’ Fantastic Warning

Patrick Mahomes warned fantasy football managers not to pick any of his wide receivers in this year’s draft.

Now that Tyreek Hill is in Miami, in 2022, the Kansas City Chiefs will operate under a recipient-by-committee system.

“Every week it’s going to be a different guy,” he said, according to team insider Herbie Theop.

The NFL world reacted to Mahomes’ admission on Twitter.

“He tells us about it after the majority has chosen the draft. Ugh,” one fan wrote.

“It’s nonsense, because the best players will get the most goals. “Writing by the committee” would be the most predictable and simplest crime in the history of sports,” another added.

“Translation: executives will try to rely too much on Kelsey,” said another.

The Chiefs’ wide receiver depth chart currently consists of Juju Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdez-Scantling and Mekole Hardman at the starting positions, supported by second-round rookie Skye Moore and recent pick Justin Watson.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will kick off their 2022 season with a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
