On January 12, the label NewJeans ADOR Entertainment published an official statement explaining the situation of girls in the United States.
The agency clarified how the group’s schedule for Friday, January 13, will be canceled due to flight delays.
They explained how a serious malfunction in the flight systems caused a delay that caused NewJeans to be unable to meet their schedules. They stated that the band was supposed to perform at KBS Music Bank and go to fansining.
After that, they announced that alternative flights were being studied to take advantage of the remaining schedule. However, the conditions at the airport complicated the task. The statement ended with an assurance of the safety of NewJeans members.

“Hello.
This is ADOR speaking.
We are here to inform you about the current NewJeans schedule.
NewJeans was supposed to return from abroad on time, but was unable to do so due to a problem with the local computer system in the United States. This malfunction led to significant delays and cancellations of flights.
Because of this, the band was unable to participate in KBS Music Bank, and the fansining is scheduled for January 13.
The broadcast of the winners on the Music Bank’s pre-recordings has also been postponed for today. As for the fanzine, we will announce details about its schedule.
In order to maximize the schedule at the local level, we have explored alternative flight options. Unfortunately, the consequences of the destruction complicated the task.
We ask everyone to be patient and look forward to the NewJeans’ performance at the Music Bank Stage, as well as their fanzine.
We will take all precautions to ensure that the artists get home safely.

NewJeans set a record for the number of pre-orders for the debut album of a female group
From other news: NewJeans is a brand new girl group that debuted on ADOR, HYBE’s newest subsidiary label, run by Min Hee Jin, former creative director of SM Entertainment.
In a July 28 press release, ADOR stated that more than 440,000 pre-orders for the NewJeans album “NewJeans” have been placed.
The debut EP was able to reach this remarkable number in just three days.
Thanks to such an incredible number, NewJeans have set a record for the number of pre-orders for a debut album. It also surpassed aespa’s Savage, which received 401,000 pre-orders in October 2021.
