Huawei, one of the world’s leading smartphone manufacturers, introduced the new ‘Smart Charging Mode’ feature. The feature, which works on both its own devices and the devices of its sub-brand Honor, allows the battery to charge very efficiently.
Huawei Consumer Business Software President Wang Chenglu has introduced a new Smart Charge Mode feature for Huawei and Honor smartphones. The new feature that the Chinese brand will offer for all devices in the future EMUI update is of great importance in terms of both battery health and battery life.
Most people leave their phones to charge before going to bed at night. After all, it is very important to start the day with a 100 percent charged phone, especially in the rushy days. But repeating this process constantly causes the battery to age, but with the right management, we can slow down the aging of the battery and extend the battery life.
Smart Charging Mode introduced by Huawei is precisely here and uses the phone’s built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) features to learn its charging habits. When the battery reaches 80 percent with Smart Charging Mode enabled, charging power automatically slows down. Thanks to this process, the phone can charge 100 percent without damaging its battery.
You can check the feature currently in use for Huawei Mate 30 and Honor V30 series devices by following Settings> Battery> Other battery settings> Smart Charge Mode. The Chinese brand said the new feature will be available to older devices soon with a new EMUI update.
