Nokia decided to organize its own event to announce their new phones after the canceled Mobile World Congress event. The highlight of the company’s event announcement was the hint given about James Bond.

After the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress, one of the biggest events in the smartphone world, many smartphone manufacturers started to organize their own events for the announcement of their new phones. One of the companies that will announce its new smartphone will be Nokia.

Nokia announced on March 19 that it will organize an event in London, the capital of England. At the moment, there is no clear information about whether only guests from Europe will be accepted to this event or whether guests from all over the world will be accepted. The company was expected to announce mid-range and entry-segment phones as well as Nokia 10 at the MWC 2020 event. Therefore, these devices can be promoted in the new event organized by the company.

Is there a James Bond themed phone?

“‘No Time To Wait’ We have something very special for you.”

Juho Sarvikas, CPO of HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia, shared a video from their official Twitter account. The video shared by Sarvikas draws attention with the similarity of the Bond movies to the legendary entrance scene, but the manager did not make a clear statement that they were cooperating with the new Bond movie.

Sarvikas used the phrase “No Time To Wait” in his tweet, which is quite similar to the new James Bond movie No Time To Die. So we can say that the Nokia event has a connection with James Bond or the new Bond movie.

We can learn how to connect the new Nokia phone with James Bond when the event is organized, but it is also worth mentioning that; Redmi and Realme announced that they have canceled their activities because of the concern for the Corona virus. Therefore, such a cancellation decision may come from Nokia in the coming days.
