Interactive social game app ‘BTS Universe Story’ sets a worldwide launch.
All seven BTS superstars will be under the virtual control of their fans (aka BTS ARMY) in the new interactive game “BTS Universe Story,” which will soon be available for fans to download for free.
“BTS Universe Story” will be officially released at 11 a.m. KST on September 24 (10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, September 23). It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The interactive story app features 3D scanned avatars of each of the K-pop boys: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

Players can create and share interactive choose-your-own-adventure-style stories with party members, selecting options that lead to different outcomes. “BTS Universe Story” also allows users to explore the stories of other fans and interact with other players.
This is the new BTS video game
The “BTS Universe Story” app’s story creation mode provides in-game production tools, as well as a story game mode that allows players to select options in pre-existing stories to shape the story.
The game also features a “collection” mode, which allows players to collect clothing and accessories to design for BTS members, along with the ability to capture augmented reality (AR) photos with their own custom characters. You can download the game here!
The game is developed and published by Netmarble of Korea. It’s the second collaboration between Netmarble and K-pop sensations, following last year’s “BTS World” mobile game, in which players take on the role of group manager.
With the release of “BTS Universe Story”, Netmarble announced a seven-day daily log event with a 30 jewel (in-game currency) reward.
Additionally, players can receive various rewards such as a logo t-shirt or story creation theme for creating a story that receives a certain amount of “likes” from other players.
The game’s release continues into the last busy months for BTS. On Friday (September 25), an all-new choreography video of BTS’s hit “Dynamite” will premiere on Epic Games’ “Fortnite.”
And next week, the group will present a week-long musical acquisition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” with a different performance each night.
Last month, the premiere of “Dynamite” broke YouTube records by garnering the most views in 24 hours in the platform’s history with 101.1 million (and was the most viewed YouTube premiere with more than 3 million simultaneous viewers). With “Dynamite,” BTS was also the first K-pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in a row.
The song represents her first single in English and, according to Spotify, it generated a 300% increase in the number of people listening to her music for the first time.
BTS, which is managed by Korea’s Big Hit Entertainment, made their debut in June 2013. Will you download this new game? Do you think it will be a success?
