Mythic Quest: Apple TV+ announced this Thursday (21) that Mythic Quest will host the third and fourth seasons. The comedy series’ renewal was made official through a fun video posted on Twitter, hosted by film legend Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs).
Created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, Mythic Quest follows the daily work in a video game studio that proposes to produce the MMORPG Mythic Quest, considered, by the game’s directors, the greatest online title of all times.
The production was released in February 2020 and had a second season available in January of this year, as well as two special episodes, one of which — “Everlight” — won the Emmy guest star category.
The announcement for seasons 3 and 4 featured Anthony Hopkins, McElhenney and Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), who parodied a FaceTime call and shared the material on their respective social media profiles.

“Like critics and audiences around the world, we fell in love with the writing of Rob and his team — as well as the engaging, relatable characters,” commented Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. “We can’t wait for viewers to see what we have in mind for the next few seasons of this brilliant comedy about a workplace.”
So far, nothing has been confirmed about storylines or release expectations, but Apple has anticipated that shooting for the series’ third season will begin later this year, possibly marking the return of the original cast and co-producers.
