MSI introduced the MSI Creator 17, which brings the mini LED display technology to laptops. Designed for content producers, MSI Creator 17 combines mini LED display with new generation powerful hardware.
Today, many laptops use LCD screens. One of the reasons why manufacturers do not hurry to switch to OLED screen is the high cost. However, MSI made the difference with the world’s first mini LED display laptop MSI Creator 17.
The MSI Creator 17’s 4K resolution 17-inch screen combines with mini LED technology to deliver very sharp and rich colors. The mini LED technology that MSI uses in its laptop designed for content producers can turn off the backlight on certain parts of the screen, thus creating deeper blacks and strong whites.
Mini LEDs effectively push the boundaries of LCD technology, unlike micro LEDs that function like OLED panels on our smartphones. Although micro LED technology was used in high-end LCD TVs, carrying to a laptop would have caused a rather cumbersome design. However, MSI avoids this problem with its mini LED display.
Mini LED display combines with new generation hardware
MSI Creator 17 takes full advantage of new generation hardware components. The laptop will come with Intel Core-i7 10875H processor and 16 / 32GB RAM option. On the graphics side, there will be options such as NVIDIA RTX 2060 or RTX 2080 Super Max-Q. In addition, the devices will feature NVMe SSDs that offer up to 2 TB of storage. The price of MSI Creator 17 will start at $ 1,799 and increase depending on the configuration.
