Motorola Razr: Motorola announces golden version of the new V3

Motorola announced the new golden version of the Motorola Razr. For now, the cell phone is exclusive to customers of the telephone company Verizon. The smartphone is only available in the United States at stores of Motorola and the American operator for the price of US $ 1,500 (R $ 7,750 in today’s exchange). Despite the new color, the specifications and prices remain the same.

The golden model is not expected to arrive in Brazil. The Motorola Razr is sold in the domestic market for the suggested price of R $ 8,999.

This is not the first time that Motorola launches a special golden edition. The old V3, a mobile phone revisited by the brand at the creation of the Razr, was also launched in a similar version in partnership with the luxury brand Dolce & Gabanna.

The 2006 launch came in a more striking and shiny gold color than the current one. With softer colors, the Motorola Razr presents the golden color only on the chin, the back and the edge of the front camera. The external and internal screens remain black.

The Motorola Razr has a flexible 6.2-inch pOLED screen, which tends to deliver a better definition of colors and brightness than the LCD screen. The smartphone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor, 6 GB RAM and leaves the factory with Android 9 (Pie).

The internal camera records 5 MP selfies and the external one has 8 MP resolution. The technical file is complete with 128 GB storage and 2,510 mAh battery. The Motorola cell phone is competing with the Galaxy Z Flip, a foldable cell phone from Samsung that also closes in a shell shape. Both arrived in Brazil for R $ 8,999.

Remember that the Motorola Razr does not use the traditional SIM card. The phone has an eSIM installed on the device’s internal board. The novelty serves to connect the device to the operator’s network.
