Did you like the Mnet show “Queendom”? Get ready for the spin-off!
On January 26, the media reported that Mnet plans to launch a spin-off of the well-known K pop women’s group competition program.
Shortly after, an Mnet source confirmed that the popular Queendom series would have a new spin-off called Queendom Puzzle, and said it would air in the first half of this year.
“Queendom” is a survival show in which girl groups and artists compete with each other. The participating groups were able to present to the public the previously unseen sides of their members by performing covers of songs by other idols and releasing songs in styles that they usually did not try.
It is expected that “Queendom Puzzle” will break away from its predecessors “Queendom” and “Queendom 2” in a new format, the details of which have not yet been disclosed. The new series will be headed by the director of “Queendom 2” Lee Yong-gyu.
