Miley Cyrus cancels her concert at the Australian GP for Coronavirus. The US authorities have recommended you not to travel.

Miley Cyrus is one of the most famous artists of the moment. The singer has been a child in front of the camera, acting and making her fans enjoy her music. Or who doesn’t remember Hannah Montana?

Miley was going to be part of the opening concert of the Australian GP that was going to take place next weekend to open the Formula 1 season . But finally she has been forced to cancel it. The reason? It has been none other than the coronavirus.

The artist herself has made the news public through her social networks with a message of apology to her followers and followers who hoped to see her act on this special occasion:

“Due to the recommendations of local, state, federal and international government authorities, including the Center for Disease Control, to reduce potential health risks, in response to the current global health crisis, we no longer travel to Australia for the concert”

The singer has continued explaining that, although she would have loved to attend, she has to do it to protect the health of her team:

“I am very disappointed not to be there, but I have to do the right thing to protect the health and safety of my band and my team. I will continue to make a donation to help the victims of the Australian forest fire . I’m so sorry, Australia, but I’ll be back soon ”

Andrew Westacott, president of the GP, also wanted to release a small statement to confirm the cancellation of the Miley Cyrus concert. She has done so on both the official social networks of the race and on the website: “We have received an announcement from the Miley Cyrus team in which she has decided not to travel to Australia. We respect your decision. All fans will receive the full refund and will be contacted as soon as possible. ”
