Meghan Markle and Harry moved to Los Angeles because of taxes?

Meghan Markle and Harry plan to leave Canada to live in Los Angeles. They may well have made this choice to pay less tax.

Several months ago, Meghan Markle and Harry made a shock announcement. Indeed, the latter announced that they were turning their backs on the royal family. Thus, they ended their functions in the family.

Then the couple asked for financial independence and they went to live in Canada. The former Suits actress wanted to live a more discreet life with her husband and son. However, it was not very well received.

And for good reason, Queen Elizabeth II is mad at Meghan Markle and Harry. So, she asked the starlet not to be called “Royal Highness” anymore. The two stars seemed happy to live in Canada. However, they will soon move.

For several weeks, rumors have announced that Meghan and her husband are going to live in Los Angeles. They are looking for a villa and they are delighted to soon be leaving to live in the sun. However, they would mostly do this because of the taxes.

According to the Sun, Meghan Markle and Harry are leaving Canada for Los Angeles to pay less tax. And for good reason, the starlet is American and she has to pay both taxes for the United States and for Canada, where she resides.

Thus, she would like to no longer have to pay taxes in Canada in order to limit costs. Then, since the star and her husband turned their backs on royalty, they no longer have government protection. As a result, they have to pay for their bodyguards as well as their staff.

However, it’s not just for this reason that Meghan Markle wants to move to Los Angeles. Indeed, the starlet wants to see her loved ones more often. Then, she especially wants to resume her acting career.

It has been months since the star resumed contact with his agents in Los Angeles. In addition, she will become a narrator for a documentary called Elephant. The work will soon be released on Disney +.
