NBC’s Law & Order: SVU spinoff series Law & Order: Organized Crime has its premiere date set to continue delighting fans of the criminal and procedural drama with the presence of Elliot Stabler, the iconic role of Christopher Meloni.
Let’s remember that Law & Order: Organized Crime should have been released in 2020 just as the fans expected. But, the global pandemic situation changed the plans of the showrunners and NBC, moving the launch to 2021.
Recently, NBC announced the addition of two well-known stars to join Meloni in the cast of the new crime drama. Dylan McDermott and Tamara Taylor announced their entry into the series without giving details about their characters.
Now, the cast of Law & Order: Organized Crime continues to grow. The new announcement announced that actress Danielle Moné Truitt is joining the series as a series regular.
Importantly, Law & Order: Organized Crime is currently being filmed in New York after a brief hiatus earlier this month due to a positive Covid test.
The new series, starring Christopher Meloni, will premiere on NBC on April 1 at 10 p.m. as part of a crossover with Law & Order: SVU at 9 p.m. that same night in order for Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to meet again.
