Match Report: Leeds – Manchester United 0:2

Manchester United beat Leeds 2-0 in the Premier League in a tense 90 minutes.

Leeds had an early chance, but fortunately for the Reds, it was a success.

Leeds got a goal kick from a free kick, but they tried to conduct a smart training session, and De Gea was not confused by it.

It was a tense match with crisp tackles and a few yellow cards in the first twenty minutes or so.

Maguire was caught in possession and had to run backwards. He corrected his mistake by getting rid of Leeds in the penalty area and handing it to Malasia.

Moments later he was there to clear the line for the Reds and keep the score even.

Fernandez had a great chance when the Leeds defence fell asleep. Bruno took the ball away and ran across the field, but Melier made a great save.

It was Leeds who started the second half at the forefront with an early chance that De Gea missed from a corner.

They had some good chances, Ayling struck, but Shaw deflected it.

Leeds were trying to keep up the pace while United were trying to take the game out of the game.

Fred was good at everything, making some timely crucial tackles.

United’s best chance of the half came when Dalot shook the post.

So far it has been an exciting 0-0 score, from start to finish, chance after chance for both teams, but who will make the breakthrough?

Another chance presented itself to Leeds when Summerville found space on the right and shot at goal, but De Gea again made a brilliant save.

However, in the 79th minute, United made a breakthrough, and it was none other than the excellent Marcus Rashford. Zabitzer switched the game with a long pass to Shaw, who danced past the defender and made a pass to Rashford, who struck with his head.

The gate was already open when a few moments later Weghorst passed to Garnacho, who rushed forward, his run-up led to a powerful blow that touched the inside of the near post and went inside.

Leeds would be very disappointed if they tested the Reds for the entire ninety minutes.

Rashford thought his team had scored a third when he found the far bottom corner, but it turned out he was offside.

Two minutes of compensated time, and United got into the net again, this time Weghorst struck after giving a corner, but the flag was raised again.

United held on for a well-won three points.
