Marvel already knows when it will be able to start the recordings of Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Marvel was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic , from postponing its releases to canceling the filming of its upcoming films such as Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , which already have a date to start their recordings.
According to the site, Comicbook, Marvel Studios hopes to start filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the sequel to Black Panther this 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Additionally, Marvel plans the premiere of both superhero tapes for different points in 2022, after having to postpone all their projects due to the coronavirus contingency that affected everyone.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 begins filming
Unlike recent Marvel productions, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 started having setbacks before the coronavirus pandemic, which only further delayed its production.
The film starring Chris Pratt was postponed after Marvel fired director James Gunn in the wake of a string of racist tweets he posted more than 10 years ago.
After months of searching for a new director, Marvel rehire James Gunn to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will begin filming on February 1, 2021 and premiere on May 6, 2022.
Black Panther postponed until 2021
Due to the coronavirus contingency, Marvel has scheduled the start of filming of Black Panther for March 2021 in Australia, just one month after the final installment of Guardians of the Galaxy.
According to sources close to the study, Marvel hopes to release Black Panther 2 on May 6, 2022, assuming that the plans do not change again due to the current coronavirus pandemic in several countries.
