The first season of The Mandalorian, published on November 12, 2019, was welcomed by fans and critics alike. Apparently, fans are expecting much more action in the second season of the series.
One of Disney + ‘s most remarkable productions, The Mandalorian was able to get a passing grade from both critics and viewers. Giancarlo Esposito, who plays Moff Gideon, the bad character of the first season, shared some information about Gideon’s story. It looks like we will get enough of the action in the second season.
Speaking at the Vancouver Fan Expo event, Esposito stated that Moff Gideon will use ‘Darksaber’ in the second season of The Mandalorian, and that fans can expect big, legendary lightsaber actions in the series. We can see a lightsaber fight between Moff Gideon and Pedro Pascal’s character Din Djarin.
There will be plenty of lightsabers:
Based on what Esposito said, we can say that we will see more action in the second season compared to the first season. Also, Bespin Bulletin’s Instagram account claimed that James Mangold and Robert Rodriguez will lead a section in The Mandalorian.
We can say that both directors are not fantastic and far from science fiction genres. James Mangold directed the movie Logan, as well as Ford v Ferrari, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Film this year. Rodriguez sat on the directing chair of films such as Alita: Battle Angel, From Dusk till Dawn and Sin City.
The allegations made about these two directors are not yet officially confirmed, but if the two directors are actually going to be in The Mandalorian, this information will be announced at the European Disney + event in March. Another rumor about the second season of the series was that WWE star Sasha Banks will be in the new season.
We can find out whether all these rumors are true or not at the event that will be held in London on 5 March. So, did you watch the first season of The Mandalorian? What are your expectations from the second season?
