A lot of new features for YouTube Music have arrived!

YouTube Music is one of the most popular music apps on the market. It has more than 20 million subscribers and millions of songs in many languages. The YouTube Music app has released a new development for both Android and iOS. From now on, when YouTube Music plays a song within the app, it offers a brand new feature that displays its lyrics on the screen. The feature was originally released for a limited number of Android users.

YouTube Music powered by lyrics
Even more than a year has passed since launch, Google is still taking slow but concrete steps in YouTube Music. YouTube Music users will now also be able to take advantage of the lyrics feature of the service. Users can also read lyrics while listening to a song on iOS and Android apps. When there is an open song from the application, just tap the ā€œiā€ (information) button on the left side of the screen to see the lyrics. Thus, the lyrics will be located under the trackbar.

Lyrics are updated regularly
Spotify and Apple Music can also show lyrics simultaneously with the track in some songs. For now, the lyrics of YouTube Music show the whole in one static window. Therefore, you need to manually lower the page while following the track.

Not every song has lyrics for YouTube Music at the moment. According to The Verge’s report, YouTube updates its lyrics daily from LyricFind. However, YouTube has not yet shared a timeline for when lyrics will be assigned to certain popular songs.

Although the lyrics feature is not currently supported on YouTube Music’s web player, YouTube states that it is actively working on it.
