CBolão is a League of Legends (LoL) charity tournament organized by pro-player Gustavo “Baiano”, a well-known figure in the Brazilian competitive scenario of the game. The friendly championship gathers several pro players and seeks to raise donations for an institution to prevent and combat the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). The second round of CBolão takes place this Saturday (28) and Sunday (29), starting at 1 pm. The games will be broadcast live on the Baiano channel on Twitch TV (https://twitch.tv/baiano).
The first round of CBolão for the coronavirus took place last weekend, between the 21st and 22nd of March, and featured several elite athletes, such as paiN Gaming shooter Felipe ” brTT ” and Vivo Keyd Leonardo toplaner “Robot”. At the time, the LoL community set an example of solidarity and donated more than R $ 150,000.
The first round of CBolão even caught the attention of international League of Legends celebrities, such as the presenter of LEC (European LoL Championship) Eefje “Sjokz”, and Carlos “Ocelote”, CEO of G2 Esports. In addition, the tournament registered more than 100,000 viewers on Twitch TV, and topped the most talked about topics on Twitter.
