United played well in the first half, almost equaling Arsenal in possession.
Eddie Nketiah cancelled out Marcus Rashford’s first shot.
In the second half, Arsenal stepped up and pushed United’s defensive line even further.
The Gunners took the lead thanks to Bukayo Sake, but United responded with a high Martinez goal.
The Argentine was United’s outstanding player throughout the game.
In his post-match interview, he said that the team should pull itself together and move on.
“We are disappointed because we wanted to win the match.”
