Lisandro Martinez on The Heartbreaking 3-2 Defeat by Arsenal

Lisandro Martinez shared his thoughts on Manchester United’s 3-2 defeat by Arsenal.

United played well in the first half, almost equaling Arsenal in possession.

Eddie Nketiah cancelled out Marcus Rashford’s first shot.

In the second half, Arsenal stepped up and pushed United’s defensive line even further.

The Gunners took the lead thanks to Bukayo Sake, but United responded with a high Martinez goal.

The Argentine was United’s outstanding player throughout the game.

In his post-match interview, he said that the team should pull itself together and move on.

“We are disappointed because we wanted to win the match.”

“We have to raise our heads and continue the fight. It’s hard, but it’s true. You have to be strong. We must also learn from this. It can’t happen again.”

He was overjoyed to score his first goal for the club. This could be seen at his celebrations.

“I dream of scoring my first goal for Manchester United, I am very happy about it.”

“In the end, it wasn’t the result I wanted, but we have to continue.”

Erik Ten Hag will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing week.
