Harry Styles debuted the first single from his new album, “Lights Up”, in the Top 20 in the United States. The song appears in 17th place in the Billboard Hot 100 update this week. This is the third entry of the English singer in the American parade.
The song was the third most downloaded of the week in the country, with 20,000 downloads, and recorded 21.5 million streams in the same period.
By comparison, “Sign of the Times,” the first single from the singer’s first album, debuted straight at # 4 on the Hot 100 in 2017. At the time, the song’s release week was marked by 142,000 downloads, 16.5 million. streams and 23 million “impressions” (plays x audience) on the radios. “Lights Up” therefore had more appeal in streams than “Sign of the Times” in its first seven days.
