Nintendo and LEGO announced a partnership to develop products inspired by the games in the Super Mario franchise. The project aims to generate more interactivity through components that simulate “real” gameplay and pieces of LCD screen that emit sounds. More details about the toys were also revealed, such as scenarios, prices and release date.
The first set, “Starter Course”, will represent one of the best known phases of the series and will aim to cross an obstacle course to overcome the proposed challenges. In this part, the available figures will be: Mario, Bowser Jr., Goomba, Shy Guy and Yoshi. The pieces are already in pre-sale in the United States for US $ 59.90 and will be distributed from August 1st. Check out the promotional video:
