A very strong explosion occurred in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. It was announced that the explosion in the port of Beirut was caused by an explosive-filled warehouse. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, many people were injured after the explosion and more than ten were killed. It was stated that the buildings collapsed and were under the rubble due to the explosion in the part of the city near the port. It was stated that the explosion was also felt from the TRNC.
It was stated that the big explosion in Beirut port was caused by an explosive storage near the port.

The first footage of the explosion was recorded by someone broadcasting from the balcony of his home while the explosion was taking place. In the images it was seen that a large cloud of smoke rose from the area where the explosion occurred. It was reflected in the cameras where a second explosion was also experienced in the area where the fumes rose.
THERE ARE MORE THAN 10 DEADS
As black fumes rose into the sky in the form of a ‘mushroom cloud’, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that there were a large number of injured as a result of the explosion.
According to information from Reuters, officials have experienced more than 10 casualties.

It was stated that the shock waves of the explosion were felt from the TRNC, kilometers away. Some citizens in Famagusta, on the east coast of the TRNC, reported that the shock wave after the explosion was also felt from the region.
