K-Pop singer Goo Hara dies at 28.

K-pop South Korean singer and actress Goo Hara has died at age 28. Police have found the body of the young woman in her home in Seoul at six in the afternoon (Korean local time) and is investigating the facts. Last May the artist was hospitalized after a suicide attempt, according to BBC. Last week Goo had returned to the stage.

Goo Hara belonged to the K-pop Kara group, which she joined in 2008. Later in 2015 she made her solo debut with her first EP Alohara (Can You Feel). She had also participated in the city’s South Korean action television series.

Goo’s death adds to the tragic list of deaths of artists of this style of music. Last October, singer Sulli, only 25 years old, committed suicide at her home in the South Korean capital. In March Seo Min-woo, leader of the 100% K-pop band, suffered a heart attack at age 33. In 2017, Kim Jong-Hyun, singer of the Shinee formation, also committed suicide at age 27. “I am broken inside. The sadness that has been devouring me slowly has finally swallowed me whole. I have not been able to overcome it, ”Jonghyun wrote.
