Based on the novel of the same name, “Because I Hate Korea” is a film that tells the story of Ah Gye Na (Go Ah Song), who is in her twenties and suddenly quits her job, family and her boyfriend. heading to New Zealand in search of his own happiness.

Joo Jong Hyuk will play a key role in the film, taking on the role of Jae In, a free-spirited, honest and bright character. As Gye Na’s classmate from the study abroad agency and best friend, Jae In makes a difference in Gye Na’s life while she lives in New Zealand.
