Jeremy Renner Shares News of His Recovery, Revealing That He Broke Dozens of Bones in an Accident

The first few weeks of 2023 were not the easiest for Jeremy Renner and his family, as the star was recovering from several serious injuries. On the first day of the New Year, he got into a “traumatic” accident with a snowplow, as a result of which he was hit by a car while he was helping a relative out of the car. The star was later placed in the intensive care unit and eventually underwent two surgeries during her stay. Last week, Renner provided a lot of information about his recovery, as he reported that he had been discharged and was at home. However, he has yet to fully recover, and in a new post he shared more details about his journey, saying that he broke dozens of bones because of this ordeal.

Jeremy Renner doesn’t hold back when it comes to keeping fans up to date on his condition. While in the hospital, he shared a post from his bed, and his family even wrote about the “progress goals” they have in mind. Renner took to his Instagram early Saturday morning and spoke frankly about the work ahead. In the caption, the veteran actor spoke about his main goals and explained that after being wounded, he had more than 30 broken bones:

Morning workouts, decisions – everything has changed this new year…. Engendered by tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused on uniting effective love, I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and concern for my family and for me…. Great love and appreciation to all of you. These 30-odd broken bones will grow together, become stronger, just as love and connection with family and friends will deepen. All love and happiness 🙏 ❤️ 🙏 .

The Kingstown mayor’s star was in a good mood considering everything that had happened. It was wonderful to see him moving forward, and he was even able to catch the premiere of the second season of his popular show (which can be streamed using a Paramount+ subscription). In his latest post, he also included a photo showing him flexing his leg muscles with a little help from a physiotherapist. Let’s take a look:,

The post was accompanied by a number of well-wishers who expressed their support in the comments. Among those who spoke out was fellow “Avengers” Chris Hemsworth, who said: “[You are a champion friend! We love you.” Asa Gonzalez also wrote: “You have this J,” and Heidi Klum just said: “I’m sending you love.” Over the past few weeks, other stars have lent a helping hand, and Mark Ruffalo has asked fans to pray. Chris Evans also sent a birthday greeting, and Colin Farrell contacted his S.W.A.T. squad, also a film partner.

At the moment, it looks like Jeremy Renner has a long way to go. He was hospitalized with a blunt chest injury, although a later report claims his injuries were “much worse than anyone knows.” The insider also stated that he will need more medical procedures over time, and that it may take several years before he becomes 100% himself again. This information has not yet been confirmed by Renner or his family.

Right now, some are probably curious about what awaits the mayor of Kingstown, who has had his poster changed as a sign of respect for Jeremy Renner’s injuries. Series creator and Ian Ferguson actor Hugh Dillon, who shared an NSFW exchange with Renner when he was in the hospital, spoke out about it. Although he confirmed that he and his co-creator Taylor Sheridan have ideas for a third season, he did not say specifically how the situation with Renner will be reflected in the schedule. The idea of another season is tempting, but right now the thought of Renner making progress after breaking so many bones is much nicer.

The Mayor of Kingstown broadcasts new episodes on Sundays on Paramount+ as part of the TV program for 2023.
