Jake Paul has apparently hinted that his fight with Tommy Fury may be postponed as he posted a teasing tweet about Fury’s impending birth.
When Jake Paul defeated Anderson Silva in late October, several names were quickly suggested as his next opponent. However, the fans only wanted to see one fight, Jake vs. Tommy Fury.
Apparently, the long-time rivals exchanged contracts shortly after the fight with Silva, and Jake even offered to fly to the UK to make it happen. However, reports claim that the fight will take place in Saudi Arabia instead.
There were even statements that the fight was “concluded” and would take place on February 25. However, Jake seems to have poured cold water on it and suggested that another postponement might occur.
Jake Paul hinted at the postponement of the fight with Tommy Fury due to pregnancy
The YouTuber-turned-boxer has played his cards pretty close to his chest since reports surfaced that the fight was agreed, but he broke his silence to throw a teaser.
“Hold your horses. The man will have a baby,” he tweeted on January 25, referring to the fact that Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy’s partner, is expecting a baby. Mike Milak even made fun of things, saying that Tommy didn’t have the baby.
The couple, who met on Love Island back in 2019, were due to give birth at the end of January, but Molly-Mae was pretty quiet on social media, and there was some speculation that they might have already become parents.

Pre-fight training camps for fighters usually last from 6 to 8 weeks, which means that Tommy will miss the early part of childbirth if he is in camp on February 25.
Despite all the reports and even the fact that Tyson Fury has stated that it is inevitable, a fight between the pair has not yet been announced. We will have to wait and see if they will move from the originally planned date, especially considering that Jake plans to move to MMA in the near future.
