Influencers turned boxers Jake Paul and KSI have earned millions more in their martial arts careers than former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
While Francis Ngannou is preparing for a potential boxing match against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, the career earnings of the former UFC star caused a heated discussion on the network.
Jake Paul, who was an ardent supporter of UFC fighters’ salary increases in the ongoing feud with Dana White, earned surprisingly more in six fights than Ngannou in his entire career.
But that’s not all. It is reported that KSI and other influencers also earned more, according to a shocking report that really gives an idea of those involved in combat sports.
The income of influential people from boxing exceeds the income of UFC icon Francis Ngannou
According to a new Midnite report, Jake Paul, KSI, Logan Paul, Austin McBroom and Bryce Hall earned more in their fights than Francis Ngannou in the UFC.
Using cash winnings and sponsorship, Midnite claims that Jake Paul is the most profitable boxer, earning a whopping $24,516,162 in seven fights during his career.
Meanwhile, KSI has earned $9,410,206, despite having fought only five times in his career so far.
However, the numbers drop slightly after KSI. Bryce Hall earned $4,952,740, and Austin McBroom earned $3,962,544; meanwhile, Logan Paul has slightly less — $3,931,586.
UFC legend Francis Ngannou is even smaller. The report claims that during his career he earned only $3,789,182, fighting 20 times and winning 17 of those fights.
Since Ngannou has finished with the UFC, it will be very interesting to see what happens next in his career, especially considering that Jake Paul continues to push Dana White to pay his fighters more, as their dispute remains unresolved.
