Instagram will have life for up to four contributors

This Monday (01), Instagram announced the arrival of the “Live Rooms” feature in a blog post. The novelty will allow users to broadcast live with up to three guests, double the number previously allowed in the last update of the function.

Instagram developers hope that the new format promoted by Live Rooms will provide even more creative uses of live broadcasts, such as the creation of talk shows, group music sessions and debates, for example. However, the tool can also be used only to interact with friends, if desired.

Similarly, the platform had already announced the arrival of functions to give better financial support to content creators, especially the hosts of lives. One of these features are Badges, which allow viewers to present their favorite presenters with virtual medals purchased on Instagram.

Since the beginning of the quarantine due to covid-19, live broadcasts have become one of the main forms of entertainment for all audiences. On Instagram, the format reverberated in different uses, from announcements of scientific advances to musical performances. Thus, the novelty should further improve the diversity and user experience for users of the platform.

According to the official Instagram post, the new Live Rooms feature will be internationally available soon, and will be gradually released in updates starting today.
