Instagram can be accessed from the desktop, and most of the basic features of the platform can only be used in mobile applications. Creating and editing shares are among these features. However, it seems that Instagram, which is constantly preparing to improve the desktop experience, will soon allow creating and editing shares from the desktop.
The sign of this preparation was seen in a post on Twitter. The user with the nickname “@ Alex193A” also shared some draft images showing how this feature will work.
On Instagram desktop site, it appears that users can crop photos or videos, filter them, tag people, and add location tags. It is stated that files can be moved to the sharing screen by drag and drop method.
There is no official statement on the subject from the Instagram front yet. However, the fact that the testing of the feature started within the company makes us think that the announcement is not too far.
