In the upcoming drama “Kokdu: Season of the Deity“, new touching shots of Im Soo Hyang and Kim Jung Hyun have appeared!
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a new fantasy novel that tells the story of a grim reaper named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun), who descends into this world every 99 years to punish people. When Kokdu meets Han Gye-Jeol (Im Soo-hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities, he starts working as a doctor at home.
Recently released footage captures various moments between Kokdu and Dr. Han Gye Jeol, from heartbreaking eye contact to a more serious scene with a heavy atmosphere as their relationship moves from the past to the present.
In one shot, Kokdu famously carries Han Gye Jeol in his arms, and although Han Gye Jeol looks agitated, the grim reaper Kokdu remains as calm and steady as ever, with a dry expression on his face, intriguing viewers with their contrasting reaction. Another photo shows Han Gye-jeol enthusiastically expressing his opinion, while Kokdu seems to be poking fun at her, listening intently and leaning in, evoking anticipation of their playful chemistry.
In addition, the scene from the long-forgotten past with a man and a woman with the faces of Kokdu and Han Gye Jeol is filled with heavy tension. The man seems unable to move away from his position, while the elegantly seated woman also remains motionless, creating an inexplicably sad scene.
The footage arouses additional curiosity about the couple’s relationship and the reason why they reunited after so much time had passed.
