Huawei Watch GT 3: China’s Huawei announced the launch of the new Watch GT 3 smart watches in Europe. With 42mm and 46mm editions, the wearables are basically slightly modified versions of the Watch 3 line.
The main difference between the series is the lack of support for eSIM chips. However, users can still answer calls by connecting the new smartwatch to their mobile phone via Bluetooth.
The 42mm Huawei Watch GT 3 features a 1.32 inch AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the 46mm version has a more spacious 1.46 inch AMOLED screen.
The watch brings the debut of the Healthy Living Clover feature. Similar to Apple Watch’s Circles system, the program suggests daily exercise challenges, steps taken, and sleep time that should be completed throughout the day.
Like other releases in the category, the Watch GT 3 brings optical sensors for measuring heart rate and blood oxygen (oximeter). In addition, the wearable also monitors more than 100 physical activities.
More features of Huawei Watch GT 3
With 4GB of internal storage, the two versions of the Huawei Watch GT 3 still offer water resistance certification (5ATM). Both smart watches are also compatible with Android and iOS devices.
In addition to the screen size, the battery is another differential between the models. The 42mm edition lasts for up to 7 days of use, while the 46mm smartwatch can work for up to 14 days on just one charge.
Pre-ordered in Europe, the 42mm Watch GT 3 is priced at €329 (about R$2,170 in direct conversion) and the 46mm version sells for €349 (R$2,300). Thus, the devices will officially hit stores on November 10th.
