Huawei unveiled the new Watch GT2e smart watch and its first wireless speaker, the Sound X. The devices were presented with the Huawei P40 series of phones, at an event held on Thursday (26).
With sporty design and features, the smartwatch includes more than 100 training modes, water resistance (50 meters deep) and space for up to 500 songs. In the configurations, it brings 1.39 ’’ OLED screen with HD resolution, in addition to HiSilicon Hi1132 processor, 4 GB memory and autonomy for up to 14 days.
The speaker Huawei Sound X was developed in partnership with Devialet, a French company specialized in audio, and should pave the way for the Chinese giant in competition with Google Home, Amazon Echo and Apple HomePod.
With 60W, it promises HD quality audio in 360 ° format and powerful bass, but with low physical vibration. The model should be integrated with the company’s new virtual assistant, Celia.
The Huawei Watch GT 2e will be sold in China and part of Europe from April, for € 199 (about R $ 1,099 in today’s direct conversion); while Sound X is already in stores in the Asian country for about 1,899 yuan (about R $ 1,338 in direct conversion).
There is no forecast for launching the devices in other markets, such as Brazil.
