Google Maps is a powerful tool, and by installing a pin on the map, you can get additional information about the area.
Do you need to get more information about the place you are going to on Google Maps? Well, this is quite easy to do, and by putting a pin, you will see not only the time of work, but also the estimate of employment, among other tidbits.
How to add a Google Map pin to a PC
If you are on a PC, just go to Google Maps and on the map itself you will find that clicking on the area drops the pin. If this is a more general, non-specific area on the map (for example, a street), it will be marked with a gray pin. You can click on it to turn it blue, offering you the opportunity to look around in the Street View.
If you click on a store or other attraction on the map, a red pin will appear. More detailed information about what you are focused on will be displayed here, including websites, etc. You can also see phone numbers here if you need to contact them.
How to add a pin to the Google Maps app
On mobile devices, whether Android or iOS, it’s the same system. On mobile devices, the application will not display gray and blue contacts, only red ones will be offered instead. We’re not sure why this is the case, but either way you’ll get the same information you need.
All you have to do is tap and hold the area of the map that you need information about. A red pin will be placed and the known location information will be highlighted at the bottom of the screen.
