Are you planning to impress all touch screen users with your favorite iPhone games? Here’s how to connect a PS4 controller to an iPhone.

While not every game supports it, games that allow you to play with a PS4 controller on an iPhone are definitely best played with it.

The way to connect the PS4 controller is actually very similar to the way to connect it to a PC. You’ll find that it’s best to start with Bluetooth settings and then move on. When connected to an iPad or iPhone, the PS4 controller can be used for things like Steam Link, Nvidia GeForce, Xbox Game Pass, and other streaming services you may have.

To start playing with the PS4 controller, go to the Bluetooth settings page on your phone. Just drag down to the home screen and trigger the search. Enter Bluetooth and we will be taken to the page.

Then press and hold the “Share” and “PS” buttons on the controller. This activates the pairing mode. Wait until it appears on the Bluetooth page and click “Connect”. Now your controller will be paired via Bluetooth, but you won’t be able to use it in the iOS menu. This will only work in the games themselves.
