Honor’s flagship smartphone, the Honor V30 Pro’s front camera, failed to deliver what was expected in DxOmark tests. Although the phone has a powerful rear camera, the selfie point is ‘Is this now?’ Dedirtti.
The V30 Pro, introduced by Honor, a sub-brand of Chinese technology giant Huawei, has been successful in the rear camera, but it is hard to say the same for the front cameras. The front cameras of the Honor V30 Pro, the first Honor branded 5G phone, were disappointing in the DxOmark tests.
The selfie cameras of the Honor V30 Pro, competing with the flagship ships that attracted the most attention with its rear camera performance, were the subject of curiosity. The front hole of the V30 Pro included two front cameras, 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel. However, the front cameras of the device have lagged even some mid-range phones on DxOmark.
Honor V30 Pro’s DxOmark selfie score
Honor V30 Pro’s 32 MP + 8 MP selfie cameras could not affect DxOmark, unlike their rear cameras. Honor’s Kirin 990 processor has a front camera, 70 points on the photo side, 85 points on the video side, and a total of 76 points.
The Honor V30 Pro’s selfie camera did not even make it to the top 10, outperforming the Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition with 77 points. The front camera of the V30 Pro has gotten 70 points on the photo side, making it among the lowest performance front cameras ever tested.
The Honor V30 Pro features a 32 MP main selfie camera with Super Night mode and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle secondary camera with a 105-degree field of view. In fact, the camera hardware of the phone looks strong on paper. Perhaps Honor can go to software solutions to update it to improve the selfie camera.
