Huawei, the smartphone giant who has had a hard time because of the embargoes imposed on the US by China, does not have much difficulty in phone sales. Immediately after the launch of the company’s sub-brand Honor’s V30, it surpassed a 100,000 sales threshold.

Huawei had to deal with many difficulties in various fields after the problems with the US and we have presented many times before. The company was banned from cooperating with US companies because it was on the US black list.

The fact that they use Android OS especially on their smart phones made the company even more difficult. Although the Chinese technology giant continued to use the Android infrastructure, it was deprived of the use of Google services, which are very important for Android users such as Gmail, YouTube, and Play Store, causing the company to face difficulties in the western market.

However, all these difficulties enabled the company to its strength in its home country of China. When the report showing the third quarter performance of smartphone companies was published, we saw that Huawei ranked second after Samsung.

In the third quarter of 2019, Huawei sold 66.6 million smartphones, including the sales of its sub-brand Honor, to reach 18.6% of the market. In addition, the company managed to increase its market share by 4% and smartphone sales by 14.6 million compared to the same period of the previous year. According to the report published in the third quarter of 2019, all companies managed to reach a total of 358.3 million smartphone sales.

Apparently, Huawei and its sub-brand Honor’s smartphone sales will continue to rise. The Honor V30, which features hardware such as the Kirin 990 processor, 6 / 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and 4,200 mAh battery, managed to surpass the 100,000 sales threshold just 3 seconds after it went on sale.

Having problems in various fields and losing its share in the western market, the company does not seem to be affected by smart phone sales by taking advantage of its presence in the world’s most populous country.
