Hideo Kojima, one of the most famous faces of the game industry, adds a new reward to his career. Kojima will be awarded with the BAFTA Loyalty Award at the BAFTA Game Awards.
Hideo Kojima has become one of the most recognized names in the game world with the Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding games created. Continuing to add many new successes to his career, Kojima will now be honored with a new award at the Game Awards of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, BAFTA.
Hideo Kojima, who will receive the BAFTA Loyalty Award at the BAFTA Game Awards ceremony to be held on April 2, will join Shigeru Miyamoto and Peter Molyneux who received this award before him.
Hideo Kojima also made a statement regarding the BAFTA Loyalty Award. Kojima thanked the BAFTA Loyalty Award. “I want to greet many of my predecessors, who came before me because I deeply respect this contribution to entertainment in movies, television or games,” Kojima said.
Stating that he is honored for being given the BAFTA Loyalty Award, Hideo Kojima added that he will continue his commitment to creating new and innovative ways to take the game entertainment forward.
