K-R&B singer Heize has released her version of “Still With You”, a solo song by Jungkook from K-pop group BTS.
In his cover of “Still With You”, Hayes moves in a more soulful direction, using instruments that pay more attention to melodic piano keys. “It’s raining even when I’m dancing alone / By the time this fog clears/I’ll be running with wet feet/ So hug me then,” she sings in the chorus.
Heize’s rendition of “Still With You” is the last cover version she released, following her own version of “Ditto” by NewJeans. They followed her 2022 second studio album, “Undo”, featuring members (G)I-DLE and MONSTA X.
In other K-pop news, HYBE founder Ban Shihek revealed that his company tried to acquire SM Entertainment twice before making a last attempt. The company recently abandoned its bid to buy shares of the K-pop agency after entering into an agreement with competitor Kakao.
Meanwhile, TWICE recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, as well as on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote their new album “Ready To Be”, where they performed the songs “Moonlight Sunrise” and “Set Me Free” respectively.
On the eve of the release of “Ready To Be”, the women’s group launched its own virtual world on the online gaming platform Roblox. The new online platform, dubbed TWICE Square, will allow fans to buy, exchange and collect digital clothing, accessories, emotions and much more inspired by the K-pop group.
