Watermelon Sugar, the second sample from Harry Styles’ Fine Line album, debuted at # 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. It is the singer’s fourth entry on the US singles chart. Other singles, such as “Two Ghosts” and “Kiwi” from the first album, did not enter the Hot 100.
The new song was released worldwide on November 16, but on US territory. Harry released the track on digital platforms while airing on the Saturday Night Live TV show in the United States, where he performed the song’s first live performance.
Despite its focus on the United States, “Watermelon Sugar” debuted at top positions in other countries – 35th place in the UK, 38th in Australia and 24th in Ireland, for example. The song has no clip yet.
