Harry Potter: J. K. Rowling buys the house that inspired the saga!

J. K. Rowling has reason to be proud. The mother of the Harry Potter saga bought her Proust madeleine: the house that inspired Harry’s.

Harry Potter fans remember this very well. From the first part, we discover our young hero, among the Dursleys.

Indeed, the glasses wizard did not always live within the walls of Hogwarts. Before he learned he was a wizard, he therefore lived with his maternal family, muggles!

This building, so well described in Harry Potter books and movies, did not come out of nowhere. J. K. Rowling, the author of the saga, was inspired by a real home very close to Cardiff.

It’s been almost 23 years since the first novel, “Harry Potter and the Wizarding School” was released. And almost 20 years for the film of the same name.

Today, J. K. Rowling rolled his bump well and pocketed a jackpot thanks to his saga. Enough to buy this house which inspired the Dursleys’ house.

“For years, every time a book or movie came out, there were members of the public asking to visit the house,” said Julian Mercer, the house’s former owner at the BBC in 2011. .

So it’s a real monument for Harry Potter aficionados. “It started since the first book came out,” she told the British channel almost 10 years earlier. “But we didn’t let anyone in,” she said.

According to Insider, the successful author bought this house for only $ 500,000! It is located in Tutshill, between Bristol, Portishead and Cardiff.

This wonder is therefore hers now. So she just has to retype it a bit, as she envisions.
