The partnership between Grindr and Pabllo Vittar in the release of the video for “Flash Pose” (feat. Charli XCX) is nominated for an international award. The Torchie Awards, to be held in New York on the 29th and 30th, named the gay relationship app Grindr in the “campaign of the year” category. Contestants are campaigns from Burger King, Busuu, iHeart Radio Australia, XING Wallapope.
For those who don’t remember, Grindr users were able to watch Pabllo Vittar’s “Flash Pose” clip firsthand. The video gained intense dissemination within the app, reaching users around the world. The Torchie Awards rightly recognize companies and individuals who use technology in strategies to improve the engagement of their audiences.
Fernando Sanders, Grindr’s expansion director, celebrates the nomination. “I am so happy to be finalists at this very important conference and competing with major companies worldwide.
