Google Assistant now helps you to wash your hands properly

Google is on the list of technology companies that have helped fight the new coronavirus pandemic. The latest news from the search giant related to the topic is the addition of a command in Google Assistant that teaches how to wash your hands properly.

Just say “OK Google, Help me wash my hands” to the virtual assistant on your smartphone or smart speakers, so that a special song is played for 40 seconds. The time is more than enough to follow Anvisa’s recommendation for correct hand hygiene, which takes about 20 to 30 seconds.

While the music is playing, a soap bubble graphic from your smartphone or tablet screen is also displayed.

It is worth remembering that washing hands is a measure recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the most effective in combating diseases such as flu, colds, conjunctivitis, viruses and the covid-19 itself.

Anyone who wants to know more information about the coronavirus can also consult the SOS Alert panel on the Google search engine. The page contains links and guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health on symptoms, ways of contagion, treatment and prevention of the disease.
