Google Adds New Security Measures to Messages

Google Adds New Security Measures to Messages. Like many companies, technology companies and social media platforms are developing various features for the safety of their users. The most important point of the companies to ensure the security of their users is the fraudulent messages.

With the development of telephones, the increase in communication options brought about some bad features. Some fraudulent businesses have begun to send messages to people from illegal betting sites. Companies are also trying to develop ways to protect their users from these messages and emails. One of these companies is Google.

On December 12, Google announced several changes to make the Google Messaging app safer and more user-friendly. The first change made by the search giant was Verified SMS.

Approved SMSs are a feature that Google determines if businesses sending you messages are fraudulent. If Google can verify the identity of the business sending you the message, you will see the business logo with the approved tick symbol on the messaging header.

Approved SMSs and Spam Protection:

Google has launched the Approved SMS feature in countries such as the United States, India, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, the Philippines, Spain and Canada, and companies in these countries have started registering with this message system. Google also promised to expand this program to more countries.

Google has also started providing Spam Protection to the US users in the Messages app. This feature alerts users of the Messaging application to unsafe numbers and gives them the option to block them. It is not yet clear when this feature will be released in other countries.

So, what do you think of these features that the search giant developed for security and a user-friendly experience? Do you think that these measures taken by Google are enough to prevent disturbing messages? You can share your ideas with us in the comments section.
