Fred Again.., Skrillex and Four Tet Have Teamed Up to Record a New Track “Baby Again..”

Fred Again.., Skrillex and Four Tet have teamed up again for a new song “Baby Again..”

“Baby Again…” is a sample of the 2019 Lil Baby and DaBaby “Baby” track, but fans familiar with the work of the three producers may have heard it before.

The track debuted during the viral Fred Again… Boiler Room performance last summer, but it was also played at the trio’s recent show at New York’s Madison Square Garden at the climax in the middle of the performance when the lights went out in the hall.

The trio previously worked together with Flowdan on the single “Rumble”, which was released in January as one of the first songs from the Skrillex album “Quest For Fire”. The album appeared the following month before it was quickly followed by another, “Don’t Get Too Close”.

The trio’s show at Madison Square Garden took place in February. It lasted five hours and was sold out in three minutes.

In a three-star review of Skrillex’s Quest For Fire, NME wrote: “Covering such a large space (‘Hydrate’ even connects dubstep and reggae) means that the album lacks a clear narrative or a comprehensive theme. Perhaps this was Moore’s intention: to create a collection of tracks combining genres that move things forward, succinctly demonstrating his seemingly endless versatility. Nevertheless, combining the past and the present — and again setting the plan for the future of music — the status of Skrillex in modern music remains indisputable.

Earlier this month, Fred again shared a new song “Mike (Desert Island Duvet)”, which includes a verse by Mike Skinner from The Streets and original vocals by singer Dermot Kennedy.
