Flamengo at Free Fire: team authorizes entry to competitive. Team director revealed that Free Fire players will wear Flamengo shirt soon.

The Flemish Esports must enter the competitive Free Fire soon. During a live held on the FlaEsports channel on Twitch TV this Sunday (31), the director of Flamengo’s electronic sports project, Fred Tannure, stated that the organization authorized the team to join the Battle Royale of Garena . In addition to assembling a Free Fire team, Tannure also cited interest in investing in the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2020 , Overwatch and Valorant scenarios .

According to the executive, the decision came after Tannure himself made a dossier for Flamengo talking about the advantages of having a Free Fire team these days. The organization, however, has yet to make an official announcement regarding the statement. It is worth remembering that other famous teams in football are already in FF competition, such as Corinthians, Santos and Cruzeiro.

Tannure commented briefly on what was reported in the dossier. Among the topics, the Corinthians of Free Fire team and the number of followers it adds on YouTube were mentioned , which exceeds the numbers of the São Paulo team’s own official channel on the same platform. The director also showed total interest in placing Flamengo directly in the Brazilian elite of the Free Fire League , Series A, and argued that this would bring many followers to the team on social networks, such as YouTube itself, Instagram and Twitter .

Flamengo’s entry into Free Fire is considered strategic and should happen as soon as possible, according to Tannure. However, the pandemic of the new coronavirus (Covid-19), the departure of Team oNe from the Flamengo project in the League of Legends and the temporary departure of support Han “Luci” Chang-hoon from the LoL team delayed the project.
