Google Podcasts, which has been watched by developers for a long time and made available to several users to optimize new features, will come soon with its new interface.
Three new main tabs
9To5Google’s renewed Podcasts app, which Google has long watched on its development, is now available for some users. The podcasts that are not listened and recommended in the application, which encountered the “Browse new Google Podcasts” notification at the bottom of the application that brings along features such as automatic download, no longer appear below. You also see an improved list of podcasts you have subscribed to.
When the app opens, the user comes across a message inviting them to discover the new version of Google Podcasts, with three main tabs highlighted. The user can access the latest parts of subscriptions first. The desired content can be searched with the second tab. Downloads and subscriptions can be managed through the third tab.
Refurbished settings menu
While there is an option to allow automatic download of new episodes in the settings menu, there may also be an auto delete option or other news with notifications about your subscriptions. In addition, users can determine which programs they want to receive alerts from.
There is no information yet when this new version of Google Podcast will be released for all users. The new Google Podcast is not yet widely available, even on the beta channel. With this upcoming mobile update, the app is no longer lacking basic functionality and will be available as a feature-rich alternative on every Android device.
