Ghanaian soccer professional was missing for several hours as a result of the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria. In the evening, however, the player from the Turkish club Hatayspor was apparently rescued alive!
English journalist Colin Millar, writing for the Daily Mirror, tweeted: “Christian Atsu was found alive in rubble after the devastating earthquake that shook Turkey and neighboring countries. He is reportedly having breathing difficulties and an injury to his right foot and has been taken to hospital.”
Earlier, the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, citing media in Turkey, reported that Atsu was buried under rubble in the city of Hatay, located in the earthquake zone in south-eastern Turkey. In addition, there are fears for the life of the club’s technical director, Taner Savut (48).
